Our Story

Two chefs behind the kitchen counter

Uniting Passion and Culinary Excellence

Muzzy's Bagels sprouted from the shared vision of three passionate partners and a globally-trained chef. Together, we've woven Austin's culinary heritage with a love for local ingredients and traditional techniques. Our eatery stands as a testament to this harmonious blend, offering guests a truly distinct dining experience.

As we charted our journey in the vibrant city of Austin, we realized the true potential of a bagel. Not just as a breakfast staple, but as a canvas for a melange of flavors and textures, beckoning us to explore further. Our inspiration stretches from the bustling streets of Montreal to NYC.

The new Muzzy’s Bagel is unlike any other in Texas. Our recipe is comprised of just three ingredients; flour, water, and salt, fermented over a 48 hour process creating a complex and unique product that sets us apart!

In line with our goal to provide the healthiest and highest quality product, we don’t use any sugar, commercial yeast, or preservatives, making it the healthiest option on the market! The long form fermentation process also reduces our bagel’s glycemic index; making it more accessible to people with blood sugar concerns.

We hope you enjoy!

Muzzy's is more than just a fusion of global flavors. It's about community. Every bagel served is a reflection of the trust our patrons place in us, and we honor that by ensuring a fresh, wholesome experience. The laughter, the shared stories over a cup of coffee, and the familiar faces that greet us daily—these are the moments that define us.

In our cozy corner of Austin, we invite you to be a part of this journey. To relish in the art of bagel-making, to share moments, and to be a part of the Muzzy's family. Because at the end of the day, it's not just about eating; it's about belonging.
